$5 million to support the Réseau des centres d’expertise industrielle (RCEI) 4.0

13 June 2019

To help Quebec companies make the Industry 4.0 digital shift, the Quebec government has earmarked $5 million over five years in its Budget Plan 2019-2020.

The funds will be used to hire professionals who will advise and guide manufacturing companies in a network of four industrial expertise centres in Montreal (Saint-Laurent), Longueuil, Drummondville and Quebec City.

RCEI 4.0 is the result of collaboration between the Association pour le développement de la recherche et de l’innovation du Quebec (ADRIQ), the Centre de recherche industrielle du Québec (CRIQ), actors in the economic and education sectors and the ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation (MEI).
