Call for proposals for collaborative projects in Health

22 July 2020

Always on the lookout for new programs and value-added financing funds for manufacturers on its territory, DESTL informs you of a second call for proposal for the Health Collaborative Acceleration Fund.

This program from the Provincial Government offers a grant of up to $10M to improve and strengthen public and private collaborations throughout the life sciences innovation chain. This is an exceptional business opportunity to set up ambitious projects related to the current crisis.

This initiative is part of 2017-2027 Quebec Life Sciences strategy. In addition to promoting the sector's recovery, the selected projects will showcase the expertise of our Quebec businesses. A budget of $35 M has been granted to the FACS' second call for proposals over a 7-year period.

Project's requirements

The project must meet the concrete current and future needs of businesses in the following sectors:

  • Life sciences;
  • Biopharmaceutical;
  • Medical technologies and information technologies;
  • Applied artificial intelligence in health.

Our Economic Development Commissioner for the Manufacturing Sector, Joe Tuccinardi can assist you throughout the process and  introduce you to our vast network of entrepreneurs. Contact him at

Interested businesses must submit a short presentation of their project before August 19th, 2020.
