The Saint-Laurent administration is committed to systematizing transportation management plans, which are very beneficial for mobility, urban planning, public health, and economic development in the borough. From now on, all projects with more than 100 parking spaces will have to include a transportation management plan.
The bylaw, the result of close collaboration between the borough and MOBA, is a first in Quebec. Under the bylaw, employers must:

The transportation management plan initiative is a major innovation in the relationship between transport and urban planning stakeholders. City planners, public health authorities, and businesses can count on the Centres de gestion des déplacements to help them meet these challenges and put Québec ahead of the curve. By adopting this innovative approach to sustainable mobility, businesses and institutions in the province will ultimately help end Québec's dependence on oil.
