Businesses have until March 25 to comply with the government's request to close non-essential activities and services. However, teleworking and online commerce remain permitted for all types of businesses.



Manufacturing businesses related to the raw materials of the services and activities prioritized by the Government of Québec may keep their operations open.

If you consider that your business is deemed to offer essential services and is not identified in the list of essential businesses and services, you can complete an online form to contact a Québec government representative.

Temporary Wage Subsidy for Employers :

The Government of Canada has announced a new wage subsidy measure for eligible businesses to reduce the amount of source deductions paid to the Canada Revenue Agency. This measure applies for a period of 3 months.
