The purpose of this envelope is to meet the liquidity needs of businesses that meet specific criteria, whether or not they already have a portfolio.

Among the criteria, companies will have to demonstrate that they were profitable before the COVID-19 crisis, had promising growth prospects in their sector and were seeking financing of more than $5 million.

Companies interested in applying for funding are invited to complete an application form at www.cdpq.com/en/form-covid-19. Once the form has been received, an initial telephone contact will be made for complementary information and to assess the application.

First Discussion Group for Saint-Laurent Entrepreneurs

On Thursday, April 2 at 2:00 pm, the first virtual meeting will be held for entrepreneurs wishing to break the isolation and exchange on common topics. The theme will focus on the main challenges faced by businesses during the pandemic and how to deal with them. Call to Action for Saint-Laurent Businesses

Développement économique Saint-Laurent is calling on companies and manufacturers with the capacity to adapt their production lines to counter the anticipated shortage of medical equipment (masks, ventilators, gowns) announced by the provincial government in the coming days. This initiative is in line with the Plan to Mobilize Industry to fight COVID-19 announced by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau last March 20.

DESTL is taking this opportunity to applaud the contribution of many manufacturers in the sector who are already responding to the call and showing solidarity in these precarious times.
