Did you know that the Musée des maîtres et artisans du Québec, Lufa Farms and Skyline Entourage benefit from the expertise of Technohub Montréal startups?
One of Technohub’s mandates is to foster networking between startups and manufacturers in Saint-Laurent, Québec’s biggest industrial basin.
With meetups, industrial visits, and TechnoPop cocktail receptions, Technohub facilitates networking between Saint-Laurent industries and IT entrepreneurs. Local manufacturers and cultural enterprises are thus able to discover technologies developed by Technohub residents.
For example, the Musée des Maîtres et artisans du Québec, located in Old Saint-Laurent, will show facets of Saint-Laurent’s history by taking visitors on an augmented reality virtual tour. Skyline Entourage, which specializes in exhibition stands, uses a “virtual demonstrator” to illustrate potential projects using inSceneVR technology. Technohub resident Beam Me Up produced both of these virtual reality projects.
Lufa Farms draws on the expertise of Cloud Horizon, which has developed connected management tools to optimize the tasks of employees and representatives. Other applications are used for greenhouse monitoring, produce warehouse management, order taking, packaging and home delivery.
Offering office space at competitive rates with short-term leases, Technohub seeks to attract and retain IT entrepreneurs in order to foster synergy between them, Saint-Laurent industries and institutional organizations, thereby creating a local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
