Webinar: The benefits of active mobility for your business

Our Mobilité Alternative team (MOBA) invites you to participate in the webinar : Promote active mobility : the benefits for your businesse (in French only), on November 10th from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. 


This series of webinars is part of a project conducted in collaboration with the Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ) and the Centres de gestion des déplacements métropolitain (CGD métropolitain). It is mainly intended for businesses that will be impacted by the major repair work on the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel.

In addition to ensuring sustainable, high-quality reconditioning work, the MTQ aims to : 

  • Reinforce the safety of all users; 
  • Ensure the connection between the City of Longueuil and the Island of Montréal (the mobility of people and goods); 
  • Preserve the tunnel for many years to come; 
  • Modernize its operating equipment; 
  • Protect its infrastructures and reduce the risk of fire; 
  • Add a third lane northbound; 
  • Build a noise barrier; 
  • Enhance its mobility offer:  

    • Adding a multipurpose path (pedestrian circuit and bicycle path) 
    • Enhancement of public transit services 
  • Develop green spaces.
